When I began building web sites in 1996 I used a 28.8 modem, Windows 95, Notepad and Adobe Photoshop. Yahoo! was the number one search engine, and Google wasn't even in the horizon. By 2000, everthing had changed. The web was a fixture in modern business, and everybody wanted a piece of the magic. Nobody knew where exactly is was going to take us, but the ride was good, and we all wanted to get there. I was then working as an Art Director at one of the hot new web design companies of the dot com boom. We had a lot of fun, and gained some invaluable expereince while working on a variety of projects. Clients included: Unionbay, K2, Nikon, Aris, Former Washington Governer Gary Locke, Micron Computer, and a whole host of others ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups with big vision, to small and mid-market businesses, and even fortune 500's.

Over my 14 year career in digital media I've learned a lot about my field. I've learned to design for search robots, and user experience. I've learned to design for clients and their customers. I've worn several hats and held many titles (Web Strategist, Web Designer, Art Director, Creative Director, Marketing Director, Vice President of Marketing and President) all have which have led to what I do today.

I still live in Seattle, and I am as busy as ever. Currently, I run two companies: constructaid, inc, a creative consultancy, and Wall Tools, a service company for commercial and residential drywall contractors.

I'm still doing webdesign project from time to time as referrals come in. The sample works you will find on this web page are works of the past, and a few of present. I believe I am proficient at logo design, branding, brochure design, catalog design, tradeshow booth design and graphics of all kinds. I can create campaign strategy, package design, presentation design, search optimized web sites, Pay-per-Click search campaigns, and eCommerce sites. I do all my own product photography in-house at our Seattle studio.
